In The Know was built specifically for racquet sports communities. Unlike general social media groups or large group texts, the app centralizes player discovery, skill matching, scheduling, court coordination, event management, and community communication into one streamlined platform. Instead of juggling spreadsheets, text threads, and multiple apps, In The Know helps players and organizers manage everything in one place.

Yes. In The Know offers a free version that allows users to create a profile, connect with players, join groups, schedule matches, and participate in the community. Optional premium and specialty subscriptions are also available for users, coaches, coordinators, and organizers who want access to additional tools and customization features.

Absolutely. In The Know includes tools specifically designed for clubs, organizers, coordinators, coaches, and community leaders. Organizations can use the platform to manage groups, organize leagues and events, coordinate court scheduling, and streamline communication with players and members.

The app also helps clubs and organizers fill tennis and pickleball drills more efficiently by pushing notifications out to their target audience and allowing users to join available sessions directly through the platform. Coaches and instructors can simplify lesson scheduling workflows, making it easier for players to request, schedule, and coordinate private or group lessons.

By centralizing scheduling, communication, player coordination, and community management into one platform, In The Know helps reduce the reliance on spreadsheets, group texts, and disconnected scheduling tools.

In The Know helps connect you with nearby players based on location, sport selection, and skill level. You can join local groups by searching via zip code or create your own group if a public group does not exist! Once you’ve joined the group, simply create an event request, and other players will be able to join in.

In The Know currently supports both tennis and pickleball. Users can select one or both sports during profile setup and receive personalized match recommendations, groups, and notifications based on their interests.

For tennis players, In The Know uses the NTRP rating system. For pickleball players, the app uses DUPR ratings. Users enter their rating during profile setup to help create better matches and more balanced games with players of similar skill levels. If you don’t know your current level, there’s no harm in guessing — you can always edit it later in the profile edit screen! Just use the guidance on the NTRP/DUPR rating drop down menu to take your best guess at your rating.

Yes. In The Know is available on both iOS and Android devices through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Not at this time. In The Know currently does not support built-in payment processing or payment portals for lessons, drills, court reservations, leagues, or other activities. Users and organizers are still responsible for coordinating payments separately outside of the app.

Yes. In The Know allows users to connect with coaches and instructors offering tennis and pickleball lessons through the platform. Create a lesson request to browse available coaches in your group.
